Iceland’s contribution to Eurovision was selected Saturday. The winner is Svala Björgvinsdóttir with the song ‘Paper.‘ Svala will represent Iceland in Ukraine in May. Incidentally, Svala’s father, Björgvin Halldórsson, represented Iceland in the 1995 Eurovision song contest.
The song was composed by Svala, Einar Egilsson, Lester Mendez and Lily Elise. The lyrics are by Svala og Lily Elise.
