Travel Tips

We have put together a few tips to make your planning easier. Our oldest brand dates back to 1987, hence the data is quite reliable. The Ring Road might seem short but if all the hot spots are visited the average KM are 2300 Km. The recommended travel time for the Ring Road is min. 12 days. If you only drive the Highland tour (Kjölur & Sprengisandur) you will drive 1100 Km.

Our campers are imported from Germany and are designed with a sturdy aluminum frame to handle Iceland’s unique landscape. They come perfectly equipped for your holiday, using propane for both the two-flame cooktop and the efficient TRUMA heating system.

The fridge runs exclusively on 12V electricity, powered by a large camper battery that charges while you drive. When you’re parked, 160 WATT solar panels keep the battery topped up, so you can enjoy your time off-grid. A cold water system is included for convenience, and a portable toilet is a popular, ready-to-use option.
